To provide an ion gel capable of forming an electrolyte, etc. with a desired shape and size.
The second mixed solution is obtained by mixing: the first mixed solution which contains a monomer for the ion gel to be a polymer and an ion liquid; with a solvent which causes a phase separation to the ion liquid. In the second mixed solution, after formation of an emulsion which contains the monomer for the ion gel and the ion liquid, a polymer is obtained by polymerizing the monomer for the ion gel contained in the emulsion. Accordingly, the ion liquid is incorporated into networks of the polymer, and resultantly the ion gel as a compatible compound of the polymer and the ion liquid is obtained as a granule.
