To provide an ion generating apparatus capable of lessening deterioration of ion generation efficiency by restraining mutual interference even though the ion generators are collectively arranged.

Three ion generators 5, 5, 5 each having juxtaposed ion generation ports 51, 52, are arranged on a support 501 in such a way that a direction from the minus ion generation port to the plus ion generation port, the ports being numbered with 51 and 52, in the each ion generator 5, is along the juxtaposing direction of the ports. Respective ion generators 5, 5, 5 are mutually biased in a juxtaposed direction of the ports in such a way that the ion generation ports 51, 52 overlap seen in a juxtaposing direction of the ion generators (namely, in such a way that L1 and L2 become 0 or more).
