To provide an ionic compound that exhibits excellent basic performances such as excellent electrochemical stability including excellent ionic conductivity, is excellent in pH stability and can be suitably used in various applications, and an electrolyte material, an electrolytic solution, an electrolytic capacitor, a lithium secondary battery and an electric double layer capacitor and the like each containing the ionic compound.
The ionic compound is represented by general formula (1) and has a boiling point of 250C or lower. In the formula, A is a compound containing one element selected from the group consisting of C, Si, N, P, S and O; X is at least one element selected from the group consisting of B, C, N, O, Al, Si, P, S, As and Se; M1 and M2 are the same or different and are each a linking group and when multiple M1's or M2's exist, they may be the same or different; and Q is a monovalent element or organic group.
