Abstract:
To provide an IP telephone exchange system for achieving voice exchange by controlling a media gateway installed on a private address from a media gateway controller installed on a global address.
The IP telephone exchange system comprises an address detection media gateway 14 that has a global address detection means 14A for detecting the global address of the media gateway 11 installed on the private address, and a detection address informing means 14B for informing the media gateway controller 13 of the global address; and the media gateway controller 13 having a private address media gateway control means 13A for controlling the transmission of an RTP packet to the global address being informed by the address detection media gateway 14.
