Title:
IRON-BASED MEMBER FOR LIGHT-METAL ALLOY INSERT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008238258
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an iron-based member excellent in inserting onto a light-metal alloy with which in the case of inserting the iron-based member onto the light-metal alloy, the generation of cracking can be prevented.

In the iron-based member used by inserting onto the light-metal alloy such as aluminum alloy, on the mutually faced two surfaces in the iron-based member, desirably, the flat surface shape is shown as circular state having diameter A (mm), 0.05-2.0 mm depth B and 0.005-1 B/A. The light-metal alloy has the plurality of recessed parts for inserting the iron-based members and distance C between the centers of the adjoined recessed parts and this C is AC2.5A. The surface of the member is desirably made to be finally the surface applying a shot-blasting treatment. Further, the iron-based member is desirably made to be an iron-based sintered body obtained by applying the press-forming-sintering process to iron-based powder.
