Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron-based soft magnetic material that can sufficiently reduce eddy current loss and to provide an iron-based soft magnetic core constituted by the iron-based soft magnetic material.SOLUTION: In an iron-based soft magnetic material comprising as the main components iron (Fe), aluminum (Al) and chalcogen (Ch) including at least sulfur (S), eddy current loss can be further reduced by attaining a cell wall structure including a cell composed of a parent phase including iron (Fe) as the main component and a cell boundary phase present at the boundary of the cell and including as the main component a chalcogenide composed of a metal including at least aluminum (Al) and chalcogen (Ch) including at least sulfur (S).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
