Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method, whereby an organosilicon compound can be efficiently produced, by improving catalysts in a hydrosilylation reaction. In a method for producing an organosilicon compound, said method comprising a reaction step for reacting an alkene and/or an alkyne with a hydrosilane in the presence of catalysts, the organosilicon compound can be efficiently produced by using an iron complex compound represented by formula (A) and a hydride reducing agent as the catalysts. In formula (A): R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms; R3 represents a hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms and optionally containing a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-20 carbon atoms; X represents a halogen atom; m represents an integer of 0-4; and n represents an integer of 0-3, provided that, when m is an integer of 2-4, hydrocarbon groups represented by R1s may be bonded together to form a cyclic structure, and when n is 2 or 3, hydrocarbon groups represented by R2s may be bonded together to form a cyclic structure.
