Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering iron and phosphorus from steelmaking slag, with which the phosphorus and iron can be recovered at a low cost and the recovered phosphorus and iron are utilized as resources, when recycling the steelmaking slag containing the phosphorus into an ironmaking process and a steelmaking process.SOLUTION: The method for recovering the iron and the phosphorus from the slag, includes: a first process in which the steelmaking slag containing the phosphorus is adjusted so that the relation between basicity (CaO/SiO) of the steelmaking slag and reduction treatment temperature T satisfies following formula (1), while the reduction treatment is carried out using a reducing agent containing carbon, and the reduced iron is recovered, and also, ≥20 mass% phosphorus contained in the slag is reduced and removed into a gas phase; a second process in which the slag whose phosphor content is reduced by the reduction treatment is recycled as a CaO source in the ironmaking process or the steelmaking process; a third process in which the recovered reduced iron is recycled as an iron source in the ironmaking process or the steelmaking process; and a fourth process in which the phosphorus reduced and removed into the gas phase is recovered at a waste gas treating system and is used as a phosphoric acid resource raw material.
