Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an iron golf club head provided with both characteristics of a club head main body made of metallic materials and that of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
CONSTITUTION: A club head main body 1 is formed of carbon fiber reinforced plastic as a main material, and marking members 3 made of metallic materials and formed into recessed shapes in section are integrally embedded in a face surface 2 of the club head main body 1 at specified distances, and markings such as score lines or dimples are formed. Moreover, a numeral 4 shows a stainless frame.
