Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the inset as well as offset of iron head gradually as a whole by constituting a golf set, in which the inset of each club is equal to or less than the inset for the next club and there are different insets within the set. SOLUTION: The inset of hosel 16 is defined as a perpendicular distance Z between a central line A of shaft and hosel shaft accepting part 16s and a heel line HL. And, inset of iron set changes its line form gradually. Namely, the inset of each club is equal to or less than the inset Z for the next club in the set with less club loft (a small club next to loft), and there are at least three different insets within the set. It is preferable that the inset Z of the club is in proportion to the height of upward extended part 16u of the hosel 16.
