Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an iron product or a metal product contg. iron such as an iron alloy free from contamination by microorganisms such as bacteria, mold fungus and algae, black gelatinous matter and iron rust.
CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial corrosion inhibitor based on silver, copper or zinc which leaches ions having antibacterial performance or a compd. thereof as an antibacterial ion source, a carrier for supporting the ion source such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate or ceramics and zinc oxide whiskers having tetrapod-shaped three-dimensional structure of a single crystal is stuck to an iron product or a metal product contg. iron such as an iron alloy.
