Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover iron in a simplified process and improve the recovery rate.SOLUTION: Mixture step for adding, to an aqueous solution for dissolving the iron, a recovery agent as a liquid having a lower limit critical liquid temperature, to form a uniform solution, heating step for heating a solution obtained in the mixture step up to a temperature equal to or higher than the lower limit critical liquid temperature, recovery step for separately recovering a glycol dialkyl ether phase that has been separated into two phases in the heating step, and desorption step for adding, to an organic compound phase separately recovered, a desorption agent, are performed in the stated order, and iron is recovered from the obtained organic compound phase.SELECTED DRAWING: None
