Abstract:
To provide an iron with higher operability, capable of compactly and easily storing its power cord.
A cord reel 60 is provided between a handle 9 and a cover 8, sandwiched between the upper space 62 and the lower space 63. The handle 9 and the cover 8 forms a hole which serves as an outlet 68 of a power cord 61. A take-up reel button 72 for the cord reel 60, which is allowed to move side to side, is provided under the handle 9. Under the cord reel, a spring 67 is also provided so as to turn the cord reel. Thus, this iron can store the power cord compactly and easily, improving the operability.
