Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the novel isochromane deriv. useful for treatment of angina pectoris, cardiac dysrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, stroke, sudden death and myocardial infarction or its salts.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. of formula I (R1 to R3 is an H, hydroxy, 1 to 4C alkyl, 1 to 4C alkoxy, etc.; R4 is H, 1 to 4C alkyl; A is a bond, 1 to 6C alkylene, alkylidene; Y is a bond and B is 1 to 6C alkylene, alkylidene or Y is O, S, NR5 and B is 2 to 6C alkylene; R5 is H, 1 to 4C alkyl; X is CH, N); for example, 1-[2-(1-ethyl-3,4-dihydro-6,7-dimethoxy-1H-2-benzopyran-1-il)ethyl]-4-(4,4- diphenylbutyl)-piperazine(E)-2-butenedioate. The compd. is obtd. by condensing the compd. of formula II and the compd. of formula III (L is a dissociation group).
