Title:
ISOLATED INTERNAL NUCLEAR MATRIX PROTEIN AND UTILIZATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2675774
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protein useful for characterizing the degree of malignancy of a tissue derived from a cell and/or the cell and to provide a method for utilization thereof.
SOLUTION: This internal nuclear matrix protein is isolated so as not to contain an external nuclear matrix protein. In this case, the internal nuclear matrix protein is a protein capable of maintaining the solubility when dialyzing an 8 M urea solution of a nuclear matrix protein without containing a protein of a cell skeleton and a chromatinic protein against a physiological buffer. The external nuclear matrix protein is a protein becoming insoluble under similar conditions. A method for detecting a compound binding to the isolated internal nuclear matrix protein comprises (a) a step for reacting the isolated internal nuclear matrix protein with a selected compound and (b) a step for detecting the presence of the binding of the protein to the compound.
