To enable a sterilization time, especially the time of an aeration process to be shorten.SOLUTION: Provided is an isolator for supplying clean air to a work chamber through an air filter and a punching plate by a circulating fan, having the work chamber and a front door provided in front of the work chamber, and comprising: an exhaust fan; a catalyst unit arranged in the flow path of the air flow by the exhaust fan when an exhaust airtight damper is closed; and a flow path such that the airflow passing through the catalyst unit is drawn into the suction port of the circulating fan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A
