Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double row self-aligning roller bearing that receives an axial load and a radial load, that is suitable for being used when loads of different magnitudes are applied to two rows of rollers aligned in an axial direction, that can easily set a contact angle of a roller in each row, and that can secure a large load capacity and elongate a life.SOLUTION: In a double row self-aligning roller bearing 1, rollers 4, 5 are aligned in two rows in a bearing width direction between an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3. A raceway surface 3a of the outer ring 3 has a spherical shape. Outer peripheries of the rollers 4, 5 have a cross sectional shape along the raceway surface 3a of the outer ring 3. The rollers 4, 5 have respective lengths L1, L2 and maximum diameters D1, D2equal to each other, and distances K1, K2 from centers B1, B2 of the respective roller lengths to positions A1, A2 of the maximum diameter different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
