Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for vehicle air conditioning that improves distribution of a refrigerant in a heat exchanger header.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger includes a bundle of tubes 2 and a first header 4. The bundle of tubes affords an exchange of heat between a refrigerant fluid circulating in the tubes and an external airflow. The heat exchanger is configured to establish a serial circulation of the refrigerant between a tube connected to a first portion 4a of the first header and a tube connected to a second portion 4b of the first header. The first header has a partition 12 configured to disrupt the circulation of the fluid between the first and second portions of the header. The heat exchanger is particularly for electric and/or hybrid motor vehicles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
