Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet wall structure useful to sufficiently and equally wet a wall surface with minimum amount of water.SOLUTION: The wet wall structure inhibits molten materials exhausted from a waste gasification melting furnace from adhering to a wall surface. The wet wall structure includes a wall having a wall surface to be wetted with water, a water storage part provided at an upper part of the wall so as to extend in a horizontal direction along the wall, a water supply passage for supplying water to the water storage part, and a plurality of water discharge holes formed so as to go through from the inner side of the water storage part to the outside thereof, and dispersed along the wall surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
