本発明は、再融解及び／又は再融解合金化によって金属半製品を製造する方法及び装置に関する。その際、材料（１）は、高エネルギーの集束ビーム（２）によって、該材料体の融解キャピラリー（３）にて選択的局所融解され、該融解キャピラリー（３）は前記材料（１）を貫いてガイドされ、前記材料（１）は、良好な熱伝導が行われるようにして該材料（１）に連結された、前記融解キャピラリー（３）の近傍に位置する冷却されたヒートシンク（４）を経て高い冷却速度で冷却される。
