Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running-in method for a rolling bearing, which allows for elongation of a rolling lifetime under a low viscosity lubrication condition.SOLUTION: There is provided the running-in method for a rolling bearing in which a plurality of rolling elements 6 are interposed between the raceway surfaces 7 and 8 of an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3. Running-in rolling elements 10 smaller than the rolling element 6 are arranged on the raceway surfaces 7 and 8. While one of the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3 is offset to move the positions of the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3 relatively, the running-in rolling elements 10 are run while being pressed onto the inner faces of the raceway surfaces 7 and 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
