Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsional vibration reduction device which can obtain a large vibration control effect at a start of a vehicle and a start from inertia traveling.SOLUTION: A torsional vibration reduction device 1 which is composed of a planetary gear mechanism 6, an elastic damper 12, a clutch CL, and a brake B comprises a controller (ECU) 14 which controls the clutch CL and the brake B. When a drive force requirement is large at a start of a vehicle, the ECU 14 brings either of the clutch CL and the brake B into a semi-engaged state so that a gear change ratio being a rotation number ratio between an input member and an output member becomes large, when the drive force requirement is small, brings the other of the clutch CL and the brake B into the semi-engaged state so that the gear change ratio becomes small, and when an engine 2 is started after a stop of the engine 2, or from inertia traveling, brings the other of the clutch CL and the brake B into the semi-engaged state so that the gear change ratio becomes small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
