To provide a jack device capable of stably supporting a vehicle body by preventing support of the vehicle body in the state that a ground-contact plate is not moved to an outer side in a width direction.
The jack device includes: an outer post 11 provided at a side of the vehicle body 2; an inner post 12 vertically movably inserted to a hollow part of the outer post 11; a link arm 20 vertically pivotably connected to a lower end part of the inner post 12; the ground-contact plate 18 connected to a lower surface of the link arm 20; an expansion/contraction cylinder 13 having an upper end part supported on the outer post 11 and a lower end part pivotally connected to an intermediate part of the link arm 20; a ground-contact detection part for detecting that the ground-contact plate is ground-contacted and becomes in the ground-contact state; an arm position detection part 40 for detecting a pivot position of the link arm 20 vertically pivoted making the intermediate part as a center; and a controller for restricting expansion operation of the expansion/contraction cylinder 13 based on the detection result of the ground-contact detection part and the arm position detection part 40.
