Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacket for books in which the vertical displacement between book bodies and the jacket for books is prevented, and the labor of manufacture is suppressed to achieve low cost, and also the information printed on a sleeve is not hard to get to read.SOLUTION: A jacket 100 for books of the present invention comprises a first sleeve 1A, a first body 2A, a back 3, a second body 2B and a second sleeve 1B, continuously arranged in this order. In the jacket for books, at least one of the first sleeve 1A and the second sleeve 1B includes tongues 7A, 7B provided so as to extend in the vertical direction only in the region of the ground side, not in the region of the top side of the sleeves 1A, 1B. The tongues 7A, 7B make the ground side as a base end after the start of use and have movable parts 8A, 8B serving as a moving portion in the near side or far side of the surfaces of the sleeves 1A, 1B while extending toward the top side. The movable parts 8A, 8B have a length in the vertical direction longer than the distance between the base end and the edge of the ground side of the sleeves 1A, 1B.
