Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a jam detecting device, reduce its cost, and quickly and surely detect the jam occurrence of a journal sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A jam detecting device is provided with a long-side detecting member 21 rotatably centering on a support shaft 22 arranged on the upstream side in the conveying direction of journal sheets than the outlet of a printing section 2 and extended along the conveyance path R between the printing section 2 and a writing table 5. It is also provided with a microswitch 31 detecting that the long-side detecting member 21 is rotated by the prescribed angle or above centering on the support shaft 22 by the corrugated deforming force of a journal sheet P generated in the conveyance path R.
