Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5927336
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To constitute a titled system so that even a beginner can input a Japanese character easily, by depressing and lighting a lighting "KANA" (Japanese syllabary) key, lighting a Chinese character key corresponding to a pronunciation order of this key, and depressing selectively a desired character from the lighted key.

CONSTITUTION: When a desired "KANA" (Japanese syllabary) key 4 of a keyboard 1 is depressed, and a retrieval key 11 is depressed, the depressed key 4 is lighted, and by a signal of the retrieval key and the "KANA" key, it is inputted to a retrieval dictionary memory E through an AND circuit F. The memory E selects the same sound Chinese character corresponding to the pronunciation order of the depressed "KANA" key, and lights a key on which a selected Chinese character of a Chinese key 8 of the keyboard 1 is displayed. When the key 8 on which a desired Chinese character is displayed is depressed among the lighted Chinese character keys, its key signal is inputted to a data code generating device C, an output code of the device C and a signal of the key 11 are inputted to a data converting mechanism D through a gate G, and the code is converted to a desired Chinese character by the mechanism D and outputted.
