The jaw crusher is equipped with a toggle plate 41 that supports the movable tooth 34 with its one end Q connected to the lower part 34b of the movable tooth 34 to form a fulcrum point of its rocking motion, an arm block 43 configured so as to be able to rotate around a pin 44 as its center axis with its one end connected to the other end P of the toggle plate 41 and its middle part pivotally supported by means of the pin 44 on the frame 31, and a first hydraulic cylinder 45 capable of causing the arm block 43 to rotate with its one end connected to the other end of the arm block 43.
