Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the occupied sea area, simplify manufacture, increase the jellyfish removing effect, and facilitate the maintenance work by extending one of a pair of the right and left impervious walls constituting an intake port longer than the other to the sea side, and supporting a propeller device at this extended portion.
SOLUTION: One impervious wall 3 of a pair of the right and left impervious walls 2, 3 is extended longer than the impervious wall 2 to the sea side, multiple steel pipe piles are driven into the sea bottom at this extended portion, and steel pipe piles serve as a support device of a propeller device 6 and a pipe. The pipe having nearly the same diameter as that of the propeller of the propeller device 6 and serving as the guide ring of the stream generated by the propeller is laid at an optional position of the steel pipe piles to be opened in the horizontal direction toward the tip direction of the impervious wall 2. A jellyfish preventing net 11 is stretched on the sea side of an intake port 1. The whole structure can be made compact, the occupied sea area can be minimized, and this device can be easily manufactured and installed.
