To provide a jellyfish flow-in prevention net easily mountable to an existing facility and reducing the number of jellyfishes flowing into an intake mechanism satisfactorily and stably over a long period of time.
The jellyfish flow-in prevention net is arranged between a jellyfish flow-in preventing means 20 for regulating the flow-in of jellyfishes into the intake mechanism 1 installed on the sea and supplying sea water into the other equipment and the intake mechanism 1 forms a side opening 15 at a side opposing the intake mechanism 1, and forms a lower opening 7 in a lower part to surround the intake mechanism 1 to reduce the number of jellyfishes flowing into the intake mechanism 1 and passing through the jellyfish flow-in preventing means 20. The net includes a body 8 arranged in the substantially vertical direction and a return part 9 constituted by folding back a lower part of the body 8 to an outer side. A retention part 10 for preventing the jellyfishes approaching the intake mechanism 1 from flowing into the intake mechanism through the lower opening 7 is constituted of the return part 9 and the lower part of the body close to the return part 9.
