Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet propulsion type planing boat allowing the boat itself to be smoothly steered in relation to a jet propulsion type planing boat allowing the boat to be kept steered even if a throttle is turned off. SOLUTION: This jet propulsion type planing boat is so structured that water pressurized and accelerated by a water jet pump P is injected from an injection nozzle 21K on the rear side, the boat is propelled by its reaction, and when the throttle is turned off, the steerage of a steering device and the throttle turning-off operation are detected, and a steering function is maintained by tentatively increasing the number of revolution of an engine. When the control for increasing the number of revolution of the engine is started, in the case that the difference between the torque of the engine at that time and the torque generated by the increase of the number of revolution of the engine is equal to or above a predetermined value, the engine is so controlled that a period required for increasing the number of revolution of the engine is extended.
