Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet-propelled planing boat capable of maintaining the steering operation of the boat even if the jet amount of a water from a water jet pump is reduced with the OFF-operation of a throttle when steering operation means is operated, without increasing the weight. SOLUTION: The jet-propelled planing boat using the water jet pump P for applying a pressure to a water to be accelerated and jetted from a nozzle 21K at the reverse side to provide propulsion with the reaction thereof comprises a steering position detecting sensor Sp for detecting the steering condition of the steering operation means and temporarily increasing an engine speed to be a preset value or more when a signal showing the operation of the steering operation means is sent from the steering position detecting sensor Sp.
