Abstract:
To solve the problem wherein the flow velocity or the flow rate of a jetting object to be jetted out in an uncertain direction cannot be measured accurately.
A progressive wave of a microwave is radiated uniformly in a spherical shape centered at a jetting source from which oil droplets OM as jetting objects are jetted out by a cavity resonance 11. The microwave emitted from the cavity resonance 11 is subjected to frequency modulation by the oil droplets OM by a Doppler effect. The frequency of a Doppler wave is detected by a microcomputer 16, and jetting velocity of the oil droplets OM is specified based on the frequency.
