Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib accommodating device for an on-vehicle crane of such a structure that a jib is raised from the lower embracing position below a boom to the sideways embracing position, with which a jib holding member is precluded from application of an action wrenching it with respect to the axis when the jib is being raised and also the jib is prevented from being set in unstable attitude. SOLUTION: A jib accommodating device is structured so that a jib is accommodated upon being raised from the lower embracing position to the sideways embracing position, and is equipped with a jib raising means 50 composed of a hydraulic cylinder 51, a lever 53, and a butting member 58 which is located on the side with jib 8 and butts with a lever working part 56. When the jib is to be raised, the operating force of the cylinder 51 is allowed to act on the jib 8 directly through the lever 53 and butting member 58 so as to reduce application of an action of wrenching the jib holding member 21, and also in the plumb direction a pressing force is generated by pressing the butting member 58 on the jib side downward aslant outside by the lever working part 56 at the time of raising the jib, and thereby the jib is turned upward while it is supported by a restricting member furnished between the jib and a boom.
