Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and cheap jib offset angle detector which detects a jib offset angle dangerous for a jib work and inform it to an operator.
SOLUTION: In a jib offset angle detector installed in a crane device which is provided with an offset angle variable means for changing the offset angle of a jib to a boom, overwinding detecting means 22, 72 for detecting the overwinding of a wire rope suspended from the boom or the tip of the jib, and an alarm means 24 for receiving the detecting signal from the overwinding detecting means 22, 72 and informing an operator the overwinding of the wire rope, a minimum offset angle detecting means 21 for detecting only the minimum offset angle where the jib is positioned approximately parallel to the boom is provided therein, and the minimum offset angle detecting means 21 is electrically connected in series with the overwinding detecting means 22, 72 and sends the detection signal to the alarm means 24.
