Abstract:

To enable a pair of scissors to be grounded easily in a good manner with edges thereof being prevented from being abraded excessively by performing back surface grinding finishment through fixation of contact part of the scissors which making edge tips free ends.

In a jig for performing back surface finishment of a pair of scissors W by supporting the scissors W to push them against a grinding surface of a grinder, and moving them right and left, the scissors W are fixed, with the contact point W2 or the vicinity thereof being detouchable between a reception member 6 and a fixation member 7 formed on a base 5, whereby the scissors W is supported so that an edge tip may be a free end in a lateral posture where an axial line P is almost perpendicular to the rotational direction of the grinder, and a magnet member 8 is mounted on the base 5.
