To improve a binding tool use to bind up an object to be bound, such as a wire harness, with a binding band so that the binding band is fastened at a preset binding spot well precisely in dimension to attach the object to a fixing side member, such as vehicle panel, easily and preferably without a trouble of excessively pulling a part of the object, or detaching a part of the binding band to binding the object again.

The binding tool A is used to bind up the object W with the binding band V, the object W being arranged to be suspended relative to a support surface 10a of a support member 10. The binding tool A is positioned relative to the preset binding spot n for the object W. A binding tool jig J has a mounting part 61 for fixing the binding tool A to the support member 10, and a positioning part 62 which makes a pair with a specifying part 8 mounted on the binding tool A to position the specifying part 8 relative to the mounting part 61. The jig J is used to position the binding tool A.
