To provide a jig for cold drawing and a method for the cold drawing in which a friction coefficient at the contact part is low, the durability of the jig for processing itself, especially, the wear resistance is excellent, and which does not cause problems such as the seizure of aluminum and an aluminum alloy during extrusion molding processing and the roughening on the surface of a product, and also to provide a lubricating oil composition used therefor.
The jig for the cold drawing is used for the cold drawing of the aluminum alloy. It is so composed that a DLC (diamond-like carbon) material is covered with a film thickness of 0.2-2 μm and the roughness of a finished face is ≤ 0.2 μm by Ra. When the cold drawing is executed, the following lubricating oil composition is injected to the jig and the molding processing is executed. The lubricating oil composition is injected to the jig for the cold drawing. It contains 0.05-3.0 % of an aliphatic ester-based ashless friction regulating agent and/or an aliphatic amine-based ashless friction regulating agent based on the whole amount of the composition. The aliphatic ester-based ashless friction regulating agent and the aliphatic amine-based ashless friction regulating agent contain a 6-30C hydrocarbon group.
