Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a jig device by which the time for arrangement of a jig can be greatly reduced and also the productive efficiency can be enhanced.
CONSTITUTION: A straight collet 60 is selected so as to suit the diameter of the shaft part through which a work is to be held, and it is inserted into a collet chuck 56 for holding the straight collet 60 by means of a straight collet cover 64. The shaft part W1 of a work W is inserted into the straight collet 60, and the positioning of the shaft part W is carried out by the taper surface of a shaft 40. Then, by displacing a piston 36 under the pressure of oil, the diameter of the collet chuck 56 in its central hole part is reduced, and as a result, the diameter of the straight collet 60 in its central hole part is also reduced, so that the shaft part W1 is securely held for being subjected to working.
