PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for exterior board construction capable of easily laying up exterior boards.SOLUTION: A jig 1 for exterior board construction used when a part of an upper exterior board 84 out of upper and lower adjacent exterior boards 83 and 94 is superimposed on the lower exterior board 83, includes a fixing portion 24 and a support portion 26. The fixing portion 24 is fixed to the lower exterior board 83 by sandwiching the lower exterior board 83 from both sides in the indoor and outdoor direction.
