Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce design restriction concerning the gap between an opening flange and glove in exchanging work by detachably fixing an annular body provided with a recess groove on the upper surface on an opening flange with a circular opening edge.
SOLUTION: A jig 35 for fixing an O-ring is an annular metal body capable of detachably coupling with an opening flange 33 so as to cover its inside corner part and a recess groove 36 for coupling and fixing the O-ring 37 is fabricated on its upper surface. At first, the jig 35 is separated slightly upward from the flange 33 by removing fixing bolts 39 and by rotating the jig 35, and the spent O-ring 37 is removed from the recess groove 36. Next, a new O-ring 37 is fitted and fixed in the recess groove 36 rotating the jig 35. Then a jig 35 is coupled to the flange 33 and bolts 39 are tightened to fix. In this manner, the detaching and attaching works of the jig 35 and the O-ring 37 can be done on one side of the glove box so that design restriction is reduced.
