Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3747277
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece fixing jig for a machine tool capable of effecting a simple work to fix a workpiece.
SOLUTION: The fixing jig comprises a jig body 11; an approximately cylindrical member 12 inserted in a mounting hole 10 of a table 1; a rod 13 situated vertically movably to the jig body 11 and inserted through an engaging member 12; a spring 14 to energize upward the rod 13 toward the jig body 11; and a cylinder 15 to move downward the rod 13 against the energizing force of the spring 14. The periphery of the engaging member 12 is covered with an elastic ring 19 to reduce the diameter of a lower end part. A large diameter part 20 to increase the diameter of a lower end part for engaging an engaging pawl 18 with a part of the table 1 when it is situated in the engaging member 12, is provided on the rod 13. When the large diameter part 20 comes out to below from the engaging member 12, the lower end part of the engaging member 12 is decreased in a diameter through the elastic force of the elastic ring 19, and engagement of the engaging pawl 18 is released.
