Abstract:
To prevent the occurrence of bubbles in a butt part in work for fusing the butt part of a belt material.
With both end parts 11 and 12 of the lengthy belt material 10 having a thermoplastic resin layer butted, a fusing jig covers/holds the butt parts 13 in order to heat/pressurize the butt parts 13 of both end parts 11 and 12. The lower mold 21 of the jig has a groove 23 which is engaged with the butt parts 13 and held. A silicone sheet (rubber sheet) 24 not adhered to the thermoplastic resin layer while being heated is mounted on the top surfaces of the butt parts 13. An upper mold 22 is mounted on the top surface of the rubber sheet 24. The top surface of the rubber sheet 24 is uneven.
