Abstract:
To provide a jig which can suppress the formation of a clearance between an electrical fusion joint and a pipe, and a fusion method.SOLUTION: A jig 200 comprises a first clamp part 210, a second clamp part 220, a shaft part 230 and a pressing part 240. The first clamp part 210 fixes a resin pipe 11. The second clamp part 220 fixes a resin pipe 12 so as to be located on the same axis as that of the resin pipe 11. The shaft part 230 is attached with the first clamp part 210 so as to be movable, and arranged in parallel with the axis of the resin pipe 11 which is fixed to the first clamp part 210. The pressing part 240 presses the first clamp part 210 toward the second clamp part 220 side along the shaft part 230 in a state in which a pipe end 11a of the resin pipe 11 inserted into one joint receptacle part 23 abuts on a stopper part 22, and a pipe end 12a of the resin pipe 12 inserted into the other joint receptacle part 24 abuts on the stopper part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
