PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior finish renewing jig by easily attaching new exterior finishing members on the surface of existing exterior finish members by using existing bolts even though the existing bolts are tilted, strained or corroded. SOLUTION: This is related to a jig for exterior finish members for covering the surface of existing walls or existing roof slate board 1 with new exterior finish members 2. This comprises a plurality of support fittings 4 and exterior backing members 5 having support surface 6 for supporting new exterior finish members 2. The support fittings 4 are formed almost to a reversed U-shape and attached as a pair of leg portions 10 arranged on recessed portions at both sides by straddling the projected portion 8 of the slate plate 1 at both side portions. The upper surface portion becomes a backing member supporting surface 31 for the exterior backing members 5. The backing member supporting surface 31 comprises inserting holes 25 for inserting the tip portion 9a of the bolt 9 protruded from the projected portion 8 from the slate plate 1, and linking pieces 26 for linking the tip portions 9a of the bolts 9 inserted to insertion holes 25.
