Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig saw simple in structure.SOLUTION: A jig saw 1 comprises: a housing 2 having a left housing 15 and a right housing 16 and having a motor 32 and a slider 8 that are disposed inside the housing; a centrifugal fan 41 disposed inside the housing 2; a left groove part 158 and a right groove part 308 formed so as to recede outside in a widthwise direction in a portion extending forward from below the centrifugal fan 41 on an internal face of at least one of the left housing 15 and the right housing 16; and a guide member 110 disposed so as to communicate with the left groove part 158 and the right groove part 308 inside the housing 2. The left groove part 158, the right groove part 308, and the guide member 110 form an exhaust passage Z through which exhaust from the centrifugal fan 41 passes and whose exhaust port 169 is open toward a forward direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
