To provide a join part structure of a skeletal member for vehicle capable of ensuring sufficient strength of an overlapping part of skeletal panels and improving the strength and rigidity of skeletal member itself.
A pair of raw materials 3a, 3b are joined by the overlapping part 4 to constitute an inner panel 2, and both sides of the inner panel 2 are spot-welded at a predetermined interval for an outer panel 1 to constitute the skeletal member having a closed cross section. Both raw materials 3a, 3b are bonded by a first bonding part 6 in the overlapping part 4 to increase the strength of the inner panel 2, and both sides of the inner panel 2 and the outer panel 1 are bonded by a second bonding part 7 in the vicinity of both ends of the overlapping part 4 to improve the strength of the inner panel 2 in this part. As a result, the strength of the inner panel 2 is reduced at three steps in the order of the overlapping part 4 where two raw materials 3a, 3b are overlapped, the second bonding part 7, and a non-bonded part other than it to suppress abrupt change of strength and reduce stress concentration.
