PURPOSE: To keep the space between the nozzles in a high accuracy and to improve an operation property by bonding a space keeping member provided between respective recording heads and a substrate provisionally with a bonding agent having a high curing speed, then bonding securely with the bonding agent having a high bonding strength.

CONSTITUTION: Two recording head substrates 13 and 23 being made in the same shape are connected together by a spacer 41. The position relation between the substrates of both heads is kept by the spacer 41 having a center portion of thick and accurate length, and being passed through a hole provided to both substrates with the ends thereof being thinned and a fixing ring 43 being putted on a projected section thereof. The surface K is fixed by a normal temperature setting bonding agent having a high curing speed with a mutual position relation of both heads being kept exactly provisionally. Then, surfaces L and M are bonded each other using a powerful bonding agent through it needs more or less time consumption for the bonding. These surfaces are connected strongly with the exfoliation forces being countervailed after the bonding, since the exfoliation directions of the bonding forces are same as the case of the bonding surfaces K and M, on the other hand, that of the surface L is different from them.
