Title:
隠しねじ釘による取り付け部材の接合工法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6996685
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
[Problem] When attaching furring strips, base board, casing or the like in residential construction, a concealed nail fastening method is often adopted in which nail heads are removed in some way to conceal that a nail fastened construction has been used. However, since the nail heads are removed, sufficient strength for the attachment cannot be achieved, and in actual practice, a woodworking bond or other adhesive is concomitantly used between a base material and a material being attached. The present invention address the problem of providing a "concealed screw nail" that enables joint strength to be obtained without concomitantly using an adhesive and is easy to install. [Solution] A "hammer-in-type screw nail" (Patent Document 1) having a thread with a lead angle of approximately 45 degrees provided on a shaft section of the screw nail is used, and a cut recess spanning around the entire circumference of the shaft is provided at a position indicated by reference numeral 3. As a result, after the screw nail has been installed by hammering, by fitting a screwdriver into a cross recess provided in a head section of the screw nail and rotating same strongly in the clockwise direction, torsional breakage is caused to occur readily at the cut recess and the head section can be removed. Additionally, due to the threaded sections that remain in each of the members, sufficient joint strength for the attachment is exhibited without concomitantly using an adhesive and the effect of a concealed nail can be obtained.
