Abstract:
To provide a joining method for joining a laminate metal foil and a metal plate that provides excellent joining quality without cracks and cuts by improving the extension of a material.SOLUTION: A method for laying a laminate metal foil made of a lamination of two or more metal foils between a first metal plate and a second metal plate and joining the metal plate and the laminate metal foil by caulking, comprises: a laser beam irradiation process of heating to a temperature at which the second metal plate does not melt and that promotes a plastic flow of the second metal plate during caulking, by applying a laser beam to the vicinity of a position where the second metal plate arranged on the punch side is to be caulked before caulking by a punch and a die; and a process of performing caulking in a heated state of the second metal plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
