PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of a crack on a ceramic member by the residual stress generated in cooling by interposing the metal made short shaft of smaller Young's modulus quality than those of a ceramic made member and metallic member between the both in case of brazing the both.
CONSTITUTION: The sintered alloy made short shaft 12 of stainless steel and copper, etc. having smaller Young's modulus than those of a ceramic shaft 10 and metallic shaft 11 is interposed between the both in case of combining with brazing the ceramic shaft 10 and metal made turbine shaft 11 of the ceramic made exhaust turbine, etc. in the turbo-charger and gas turbine of an internal-combustion engine and brazed at the interface 13, 13'. Due to the deflection by the difference in the shrinkage factors of the ceramic shaft 10 and metallic shaft 11 after their brazing at high temp. being absorbed by the short shaft 12 of low Young's modulus, the residual stress generated on the ceramic shaft 10 of brittle material is reduced and the generation of a crack is prevented.
